I've chartered before, but this is my first time coordinating a group. The Admiral has granted a guys trip, so I'm taking my old college buds down for Catfight <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

I have the DFW airfares down, but need to know best airlines / routes from Kansas City, North side of DC, & Long Island NY

Given the risk of not getting everyone there on time, I would prefer to fly everyone into EIS even if more money. But I'm open to STT options if much better.

Thanks in advance for your input, Andy

One of the NYC airports has direct JetBlue flights to San Juan, then Cape Air or Seaborne would take care of the rest of the leg. Not sure about the other locations, but if getting everyone to EIS is the goal, you could probably get a commuter book with Cape Air. I have always found that is cheaper then booking all the way with Jet Blue.

Southwest flies direct from BWI to SJU.

A year ago I flew Kansas City-San Juan on Southwest. It was the easiest flight our group has taken to get to the BVI. One stop in Florida and the layover was the perfect amount of time. We then flew Seaborne over to Tortola.

As soon as flights open up on Southwest for January our group is going to look at that route again. The price and value were worth us driving 2.5 hours to get to Kansas City.

After several trips herding up to 12 newbee cats to the Islands I have decided that the best way to do it is:
1) Make sure everyone has a valid passport
2) Instruct everyone to book the flight of their choice to arive in St. Thomas by 4PM.
3) Give a list of names and arival times to Kevin Campbell.
4) Stop worrying.
