Hi Everyone:

Heading down July 18th! Have not been to BVI's in while. How much can we expect to pay each night for a mooring ball?

I'm not sure but I thought I read somewhere that the mooring balls in the USVI are free. Hard to imagine anything being free especially where boats are concerned.

National park moorings in the USVI are $15 per night and $7.50 for seniors.

The mooring balls in the STJ National Park are free for day use only.
There are collection stations in the bays and it is an honor system for overnights - they do not have collection boats that come around and collect the overnight fee - some bays do have 'host boats' but and they will direct you to the collection stations - also very few bays have garbage receptacles on shore.
I am not sure how the senior discount works.

you can get the senior pass at any U.S.State Park. In STJ it's the office next to the fuel dock. You just fill out your mooring form with your park ID number, $7.50, easy peasy.

I think that you meant US National Park. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/usflag.gif" alt="" />
