We have returned from another great trip to St. Martin. The highlight of our vacation was the day trip aboard the Celine to Tintamarre. We have been visiting St. Martin regularly for 20 years, and have enjoyed many boat trips, but the trip to Tintamarre on the Celine was simply the best!
The day began at 7:30 am with a light breakfast on the boat. We left from Skip Jack’s and made the 8:15 am bridge opening. Captain Neil and his great mate Gana were a perfect host and hostess. We enjoyed super weather and the company of new friends. We swam ashore to Tintamarre where Neil got the fun mud party started. It was fantastic! After additional swimming and sunning, it was time for lunch. The lunch presentation looked like a picture from a gourmet magazine. The lunch was incredible and surpassed our high expectations. Any of the fine Grand Case restaurants would have been proud to claim the meal as one of theirs!
After our visit to Tintamarre, we headed to Happy Bay for more noodle fun and swimming. There was an open bar all day, with beer, rum punch, soft drinks and bottled water. We returned through the 5:30 pm bridge opening, and arrived back at Skip Jack’s around 6:00. We have had many wonderful times and memories in St. Martin, with the trip to Tintamarre on the Celine the greatest!
We will be back in St. Martin the last two weeks in June and are ready to again board the Celine for Tintamarre. We will be looking for others who will be in SXM then and would like to join us on another great trip. As we get closer to June, we’ll want to firm up at least one day for another trip on the Celine.
