When I was on St. Martin during May, work was beginning on the road going to Mount Vernon. Does anyone know if the work has been completed or, if not, what is the expected completion date?

My God I hope this is going full-swing from the main road to the hotel entrance. I was there in March and my little rental car would just get tossed by any of those horrid potholes no matter which angle you tried to avoid it.

I was told it was going to be slow process. When we left on May 21 drove on the one completed piece. The other side was almost ready. The next piece will be later.???Also was told that temporary work will be done while waiting to complete.
I sure hope so.I blew a tire last trip. Also saw a few oil pans that leaked badly

We used to stay @ a hotel off Rue d'Mont Vernon for years but many tires later we changed. There was no getting around the potholes. They did manage to fill them but they weren't done properly and they emptied again. The entire road needs to be dug up and repaved. Ya, like that's going to happen. LOL. Too bad. Great location.

They actually were digging up road in early May. I was curious to find out how much work has been completed to date. My daughter and son-in-law are staying at Mount Vernon next month.
