This is my fourth attempt at writing this. Twice now, I have finished the entire thing only to have it disappear. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cloud.gif" alt="" /> The last time, I think I took too long to write it so I am going to condense it and hope for the best.

Saturday- up at 4:00 and off to the airport. We arrived at SJU by 12:30 and over to Beef by 3:30. Met Lorilee and she took us to the West End dock. Waited for the 6:00 ferry and enjoyed my first Carib in the ilons. Bobby's was on time and unloaded our massive amount of groceries on the dock. Once we got it all on the boat, we were off to JVD. Got there to find Steven and Greg right on time. It took every last bit of space in their cars to get us (6) our bags and groceries over to White Bay Villas. We stayed at the Plantation house and was it ever beautiful. Terrific view and just a wonderful place to stay. It was dark already and time for Foxy's BBQ. We got freshened up and started the walk over to Great Harbour. Nothing better to cap off the day than ribs and Foxy's cold brew. This was the first time for the other two couples to come to the BVI so I knew the next morning would be great. They had yet to see the view from the house.

Sunday- Woke up and Trish and Rod were already on the first pot of coffee and totally enjoying the morning. We all had breakfast when Carline and Greg got up and then packed a cooler full of icey Carib and fresh lime. Headed to the beach for some relaxation and snorkeling. Later went to Soggy Dollar to see Reuben play and started on my new collection of Painkiller cups.

Monday- Spent the day with Colin on a boat. He took us to the usual haunts, Sandy Cay, Spit. We went on a little more adventurous trip around the corner and Joe, Rod and Greg decided to go while we stayed on the boat. Rougher seas there plus a barracuda and shark. Glad I was on the boat. Had enought of those last year. Went back to WBV and had a pasta dinner at home.

Tuesday- Snorkeled with more Carib at the beach and lunch at Jewel's. Great cheeseburger in paradise while listening to Reuben play again. Went to Corsair's for dinner. Had their awesome pizza. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/chef.gif" alt="" /> That guy can COOK! We had the lobster and Greg and Carline had the sausage. Excellent! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Oink.gif" alt="" /> Time to walk it all off by going back up the hill to White Bay. Easy to get to Great Harbour but a biscuit getting back UGH!

Wednesday- Hung out in the morning and had Claude pick us up to head over to Bubbly Pool around three o'clock. We hiked the rest of the way in and enjoyed the pool. Collected some cool shells there and a shark (cat) tooth that Trish found! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Claude picked us up at about 5:30 and took us over to Sidney's for Lobster. Ever so good! Checked this off my list of must-do's. YUMMY.

Thursday- Joe and my anniversary. Today seemed to be the best day for Joe and Greg to go play golf on St. Thomas. Trish and Carline wanted to shop Charlotte Amalie so Rod ended up with them. Joe was feeling so guilty for leaving me behind. Alone on JOST! What a terrible thing. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Devil.gif" alt="" /> I had a fine time. Hung out with Charline at Ivan's and helped out a bit when the day trippers arrived. Did some catching up with Ivan and Reuben and gave Ivan a lesson on Ipod use. Needless to say, I have a list a mile long of songs he wants on his. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Later I sat under the tree in front of Pink House and listened to my music while watching the sun go down. I tried very hard not to sing too loud. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/busted.gif" alt="" /> Got back just as they walked in and we got ready and went down to Ivan's for the BBQ. Yummy as usual. Reuben played again. Heaven. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

Friday- Joe and I had breakfast at Sandcastle. Omlet, bacon, muffin, fresh fruit and juice. What a great start to the day! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/hungry.gif" alt="" /> Back to the beach to dutifully finish any left over Carib on our last full day. We snorkeled some more and then the clouds rolled in. Joe fell asleep under my tree while I just sat there taking it in. Getting more sad by the minute. Later we went back to Soggy Dollar to say goodbye to Mic and play the ring game for a while. Stopped at Ivan's to get a couple of pictures of baby Melody and say goodbye to Renae, Charlene and Darline. Settled up with Ivan too. That is always the worst part for me. That and going out of Great Harbour on the ferry. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Sad.gif" alt="" /> We had the delicious pizza again at Corsair's and yes, more ice cream. The Dove bar rocks. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Oink.gif" alt="" /> When we got back to the room, my little Poptart buddy, Spot was waiting in my room. He must have followed the scent! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/greendog.gif" alt="" /> He slept there all night.

Saturday- Up really early to pack and clean. Claude got us about 6:45. From there on it was planes, trains, and automobiles..well ferrys, automobiles, and planes actually. We got back to Houston at about 11:00. VERY LONG DAY. Some luggage made it some didn't but all in all there were no wrinkles. It was a great trip! I have already posted the pics. Lets hope this one makes it!! Crossing my fingers.........
