Peaceful Eastern North Carolin...

I've mentioned this before, but thought I'd make a separate thread. For those of you who are asking where things are located, and for directions, Google Maps works very well on the island. Many landmarks, restaurants, shops, etc, are tagged there, and you can get locations and driving directions just like you do at home. One caveat: the driving times are laughable; Google doesn't understand the concepts of island time and island traffic. Other than that, it's a great resource.

They do work well. Now if only they could add Google Street View!
