It’s been a good while since we last published a “trip report” and the one we have to share now is of no great consequence – just a quick four day visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. However, the fact we’ve begun traveling again is significant (at least to us) and with the success Ed has had with several long, recent road trips it’s only a matter of time before we’re once again winging our way to the Caribbean.

We think it important to emphasize our latest report is very different from our traditional ones because it focuses so much more on an event – our 20th anniversary – rather than the travel involved per se. Also, because of its special event orientation we’ve devoted a lot of attention to those matters close friends and family want to know about in addition to the normal “stuff” such as accommodations and dining: Why did you go there? Has the place changed much? Did you take such and such car, and weren’t you worried about it? What did Sandra get for the occasion (why the heck don’t people ask what Ed received? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> )?
