Again, we had a great visit to SXM and Orient Beach. Sad to see the damages the hurricane caused and to see so many places demolished the last week. However, progress does move forward and we understand once the new Orient Beach restaurants open there will be lunch and dinner options plus security. That's good news for those of us who hang out late at that beach. Great to see friends and meet new acquaintances. Seaweed was a bit heavy, but it didn't stop us nor the guys playing corn-hole for 2-weeks on the beach. We stayed at Villa Cote Mer, which is in Terrasses de Cul-de-Sac and it's a great open, airy 3-bedroom villa with pool and deck. Overlooks the seaside toward Pinel isle. Smell from seaweed was a bit of a problem on a few days, but we just worked through that and enjoyed the place! Looking forward to returning to our home-away-from-home and perhaps renting this island gem again. Happy sunning everyone and enjoy paradise! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />
