Safe, yes. Walk down easy. Walk up, you have to be able bodied. I don't know step count, but alot. If you have heart trouble I wouldn't try it. Pda, sow a couple under a blanket once(might of just been hugging), other than that, none. Pretty place.

park by the glider parking lots and have a good pair of shoes on---no problems---pack light cause coming back up things seems to weigh more!

Funny this topic has been raised, planning a trip to Southern California, wanted to take wife to San Onofre-trail 6, that of course has changed. Had never visited Blacks so it'll be new experience for us both. Any similarities?
