An article in the Daily Herald questioned the high prices of food on the Dutch side of the island. The article indicated that the Super U on the French side had better food prices. http://www.thedailyherald.com/index.php?...s&Itemid=54

When we were on island, Grand Marche was running some big sales and I heard an employee referring to 'competition', so I assume he was talking about Super U. We certainly enjoyed shopping there.

Isn't the Grand Marche in Cole Bay being changed over to another outlet? Thought I heard talk about that on this forum.

It's going to be a full Carrefour, yes, but that one and the one by Mark's are both already carryiing Carrefour items.
