Day 3 &. 4
Left our mooring ball at Cooper, motored to Salt Island, picked up a mooring ball, dinghied to the dinghy mooring line. Snorkeled the wreck of the Rhone. Perfect conditions, no current, no jellyfish, great visibility. Left Salt Island and raised sails to make our journey to North Sound. We pulled trolling lures on the way but no luck. As we entered North Sound we called Leverick on VHF and was happy to hear they had a slip available for us, Leroy and Troy were waiting to catch our lines as we pulled into the slip. Made it over to the Jumbies Bar for a few cocktails and then for a swim in the pool. We watched a few folks try the new hoverboard, very cool! Leroy called the Saba Rock Ferry and arranged for them to pick us up. Made it to Saba Rock in time to enjoy the Tarpon Feeding and new for us, a Kite Board Show. Two guys from Florida performed some amazing stunts with their kites and boards. Took the Saba Rock Launch back to Leverick Bay, showered and went to dinner at The Cove at Leverick Bay. Awesome food, most of us had fish (Mahi Mahi) and chips.
The next morning I found Nick and said hello, always great to see his smiling face and great attitude. We had pulled pork sandwiches for lunch, iced up the cooler, filled up the freshwater tanks said our goodbyes to the Leverick Crew and set sail for Scrub Island after navigating through Couulagans Pass. It was a great downwind one gybe sail to Scrub. Enroute we pulled trolling lures but didn't have any luck. We saw a couple of schools of flying fish, very cool. We pulled into Scrub about4:30 and found the marina packed, we got one of the last slips on the very outside of B Dock. Savio helped us with our lines, it was great to see him again. We received generous TTOL discounts at Leverick and Scrub, thank you! Once at Scrub we checked in then went to the pool, completely packed. We visited with a few folks there and learned they were with a group of 5 power cats with 48 people. Took nice long showers at scrub and had a great spaghetti and meatball dinner( brought from home). Kurt, former dock hand, now Scrub Ferry First Mate, visited with us between his Ferry runs. Great to see him! Learned something from him, they don't celebrate birthdays, he claims you are only born once, he calls your "birthday", a New Year; I like it.

Looking forward to meeting you Sunday Tony! Are we planning on meeting up at Norman? That's what Beerman has said.
