JoGene,
Unlike Ackman, I can't say I've ever used them personally but I can say they've been around for almost as long as I can remember back and I've never heard or read a bad word about them, and you know what they say......"good news gets around but bad news spreads like plague".
My best guess if you have any doubts at all is get a comparative quite for the same dates and kind of car and service. This should either help or add a little more confusion to the matter. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />
Respectfully,

JoGene said: Thanks Pat, they seem to have the best rates for Jan. Gene Their base rate is indeed attractive but I just quoted a compact car (i10) for 7 days in Feb, and with Liability Insurance (no collision), taxes and fees the total is $273.76. They're not as cheap as their base rate indicates. Most rental companies are in the $260-$280/week range, all included, for a compact car in peak season.
