We've just returned from 3 weeks at the Royal Palm. They were 3 fabulous weeks, terrifically windy, but great nevertheless. Just a point of information, if you're in the neighborhood, try the Atlantico Cafe in Simpson Bay, new owners, for crepes, pastries, breakfast and lunch, etc. They're out of this world! They are open until 2 or 3 pm, depending on the day.
The only sour spot we had was at the airport, when the person next to us at the AA counter made off with my husband's sleep apnea machine carried in a black bag, which must have resembled a large camera bag. It happened when he put it down momentarily to place our suitcases on the scale. We immediately realized it was gone and made such a fuss and yelled for security, that it was smugly returned by the man, who made some foolish remark to us about it being his (with all our tags on it). Otherwise, it was a great vacation, TTOL party was fabulous, and we enjoyed every place recommended by TTOL, as usual. Sorry we couldn't stay longer!
