Trip Report 4/15-4/28

Flew EWR to SXM Continental non stop. A group of 10 nudists from Central NJ. We had no problems with the flight. After collecting our luggage we were met by Leslie of Kenny’s car rental and the agent from the villa we rented. We rented 2 vans and it only took maybe 5 minutes to fill out the contracts and have us on our way. Also we rented a cell phone from Sharon that was delivered with the vans. Very convenient.

We rented Le Caprice which sits on the hill above Bay Rouge. The villa and staff were wonderful during our 9 day stay. The view from this villa is fantastic. The pictures on the website do not do it justice.

We hung out mostly by the pool except for 2 day trips to Orient Beach. Also my wife and I along with another couple from our group did the Tiko Tiko one day. Best day trip I have ever taken. There were only 6 of us for the trip, and it was perfect. The sail over was wonderful, the food, everything was top notch.

Dining: We prepared breakfasts daily, pastries from the little shop in Marigot. Sorry I am bad with names. We got fresh fish from the market early one morning and did it on the grill.

One afternoon at SSBB to watch the planes land, have lunch and get free drinks for the ladies. Lot’s of fun. Tuna sandwich was GREAT!!

Restaurants:
Le Cottage in Grand Case. Wonderful, the seating is a little funky but the food and presentation was great.

Spiga – Grand Case. It was OK not fantastic. Hot and uncomfortable chairs 1 for 1 cash

Bistro de la Mer – It was good, but the exhaust fumes were a bit much sometimes.

L'Oizeau Rare – Great atmosphere, great service and food. Best escargots I ever had.

Chef’s du France – Dinner for 14 at the villa. Prompt, courteous, and didn’t mind serving us while nude, we were nude, not them………..

I didn’t bother to name what we ordered, but with a group of 10 we had a big variety of menu items and all were good. The gnocchi at Spiga was overcooked.

The other 4 couples went home, we traded the vans for a small car through Kenny’s, a very seamless transaction. Within minutes of getting to the airport and unloading the luggage, the people were there to collect the vans. Minutes later, we were picked up with the small car, and did the paperwork and we were off to Club Orient for 4 days.

We had the Deluxe Mini-Suite. Plenty of room, the studio last time was too small.
We met Contessa, Peconic and his family and too many others to mention.
Nude walks on the beach were no problem every morning before 8 or so.
Breakfast every morning at Baywatch. My favorite was the Philly Cheese Steak Omelet.

My wife and I had dinner at Poulet d’Orleans. Very good food, and prices. Christian was very entertaining.

We went to Il Nettuno in Grand Case. Good, not fantastic, a little pricey for what you got.

Weather – The first 9 days were picture perfect. The 4 days at Club Orient were a little grey but not unpleasant. One Monsoon the night of the Baywatch Party. The rain came down fast and furious, but we didn’t let it deter us. I put on my nudist tuxedo, put on a wrap to cover the naughty bits, while my wife put on a nice island wrap from Rima’s and away we went. We ran in between the raindrops and made it to the Party on time. The food was great, the DJ/singer was good as was the tattoo man. We met even more wonderful TTOLers there. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making the party a success. I’m glad to hear a good sum of money was collected and will go to a worthy cause.

Well that’s about it. After all of the wonderful information I have gotten over the years, I owed you a trip report.
