I only read part of one of the links dated May 08:
Due to recent violence (May 2008) against foreigners in the Gauteng province of South Africa, some Mozambican nationals living in South Africa are returning to Mozambique. There is a possibility that this violence will spread to other regions of South Africa. Canadians travelling in the border regions of Mozambique and South Africa are advised that transportation at border crossings may be delayed. Canadians in Mozambique are advised to follow news reports and updates on this current situation before undertaking travel to South Africa.
