Just wondering... Won't be staying at Club Orient. But we'll be renting chairs/umbrellas for a day or two, and just wondering if there's a bathroom, perhaps in their restaurant, even if we don't eat at their inside restarant. We like the food at the Perch. Or, is there a bathroom somewhere else further down the beach? (I remember one near the main beach parking lot, and I think there's one at Pedros. I think Pedros charge for like two loungers, an umbrella, and a couple drinks and I think there's a bathroom "included." I figure with so much demolition on the beach, bathrooms may not be available. (Arriving on SXM Oct 10 to the 17th.) Thanks in advance...

There are 2 basic public restrooms on the back side of the Perch. Sounds like that might suit you.

There are public bathrooms at Papagayo and at the Perch. The Perch is open through the vacation closing of Club O. Papagayo is not open right now, can't remember exactly when Club O reopens, but the bathrooms there will be open once Papagayo's is open. I don't know if the bathrooms by the guard shack at Club O are open right now or not. I assume that the PAY bathrooms behind Pedro's are open right now, although I don't know for sure. The construction does not involve Pedro's, so Pedro's is open through the construction, so I assume the bathrooms are open, but don't know. Otherwise, once you get past the construction area, Kontiki and all the restaurants past that all have bathrooms and frankly no one is going to ask you if you're eating there to use those bathrooms. Pinel, I don't know, haven't been there in forever..

Haven't been to Pinel in several years, but there used to be a bathroom up behind one of the restaurants.

There are bathrooms at pinel.

There are bathrooms and showers in the back of Kakao. I think they are intended for people who rent their chairs but there is really no one checking who is using them.
