This made me miss the Marigot of old. I hope the government can get it's stuff together and figure out a way to bring at least the marina back to it's former glory. Pretty sure I'd not be as willing to meander at my leisure as was the subject of the post, but the situations described are so typical of the Marigot we first came to know thirty to forty years ago that I felt as though I was being transported to 'back in the day' one more time. We stopped after we couldn't keep our eyes open, after being up from 3 AM, and talking to Bruno till past closing. When they left SXM, it was definitely changed to somewhere close to where we stay. I still enjoy the marina - breakfast at La Croissanterie, lunch at La Belle Epoque (best pizza!), dinner at Tropicana, etc. But, we do go early for dinner, and hopefully find a close-by parking spot. I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.
