My "island of the day" calendar for Oct. 6 featured Cane Garden, and I immediately became wistful and wishful wanting to haul my overweight middle-aged (broke) [censored] down to the islands.

This is the next best thing, I reckon.

The Mrs. and I are saving for another land-based BVI getaway in 2016. I tried to get her interested in a sailing adventure, but she wants to sit under a palm tree by the sea and read her books (which, frankly, sounds like a good plan, too).

So - high kids!

HI Notahippie - check out Adagio if you are looking for a villa - you can also rent a sail boat at Bitter End Yacht Club to get your sailing fix while your wife gets her reading time. cheers Brian
