We're going to be staying two nights at Anegada next month. We definitely want to go to the Wonky Dog for dinner one night. Recommendations for the other night? (we ate at Anegada Reef Hotel earlier this year and didn't think it was worth the $). Car rental recommendations? We rented a car from Dean Whitley last trip and while he was pleasant to work with, we ended up with an older mini van with no front dashboard. Seriously, the center console was gone. Would prefer something just a wee bit upgraded from that. If we rent a car for 2 days that we're there, where do we park it over night?
Thanks!

I always use Dean. Ask for a jeep. Anything on 4 wheels that runs (and restarts) on Anegada is pretty much a luxury vehicle <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

I recommend Potters By the Sea for dinner. Their lobster fettuccine that is very good. I also like Neptunes, they have very good fresh fish.

Neptunes after Wonky Dog would be our suggestion. Dave

Wonky Dog's Lamb Shank is the best meal I've ever eaten (twice) <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> and will most likely again next week <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />

I'll contact Dean again and request a newer jeep. :-) Sounds like Wonky Dog the first night and then evaluate for our second night - Potters and Neptunes sound great! Thanks everyone! Three weeks from today we'll be leaving Road Town - can't wait!! Julie

Cow Wreck is definitely on our list - being able to linger there ALL afternoon is one of the reasons we're staying 2 nights. The lobster salad and sandwich at Cow Wreck were delicious!

Julie - get on down to Flash of Beauty and Loblolly while you are there. When we stayed on Anegada, we enjoyed this as much as any other place on the island (we were there 4 days). Some of the best snorkeling anywhere we have ever been was at Flash of Beauty, but the current can be a problem so check first.
Have a great trip. Envious. Don't know about dinner there, but lunch is great at either place and they are 5 minutes apart.

Hi Ken! We snorkeled Loblolly with the kids last spring. It was amazing snorkeling but the current was fast. And they thought the honor bar at Flash of Beauty was great. We don't want to rush around this trip so we're staying 2 nights.

How is the seaweed on the beaches of Anegada? Especially, the beach at Cow Wreck? We will be there in a few weeks and was wondering what beaches in the BVI's are the cleanest.

Thanks for the update as we will be staying part of our trip in Cane Garden so this is good news to some extent.
