we have only chartered a lagoon 38 in the past with 3 cabs and two heads. Our bathroom had a shower stall. We are going to book a 4 cabin Lagoon 410, Fountaine-Pajot Lavezzi and notice the two bathrooms in both hallways do not have shower stalls. Does that mean that you use the nozzle out of the sink and the whole bathroom becomes the shower like in a motorhome sometimes. Also in the 4 cabins is there windows in each and a hatch for air in each. I've looked at videos on youtube but can't find what i'm looking for. I don't know what year the boat is yet either. I know this question may sound silly to you but we have only chartered 3 times in the other model Lagoon. Thanks!

Yes the Levezzi uses the whole head as the shower.

Are you chartering a Lagoon or a Fountaine-Pajot Lavezzi? They are two different boats. Are there four heads (i.e., one per cabin) or just two? If four, it is extremely unlikely that you will have a separate stall shower. If two, it is very possible that there is a separate stall shower in each head. However, you would really need to ask the charter company to be sure. Even if you know the type of boat and the exact model, there can be different cabin layouts. Regardless of which boat or model, each cabin will definitely have a porthole (or two) and an opening hatch.

The Lavezi was never built with four heads. It has "wet" heads with no seperate show stalls. The 410 if it is a four head will have small "wet" heads as well. If you can find a two head or three head configuration. The larger head or heads will have a shower area.

ok yes let me clarify now we have the choice of either getting a 2007 40' FP Lavezzi with 4 cabs and 2 heads. Our other choice would be a 43' Voyage Norseman with 4 cabs and 4 heads.

It will be 4 ppl with a captain. 2 people solo in their cabins and one couple in a cabin. I like the idea of a bigger boat with the 43 Voyage BUT I like the bed layout of the 40' Lavezzi having to climb in from the foot of the bed vs. getting into bed from the side and looks like more closet space and I like the kitchen windows facing out to the stern and deck area.

However with the Voyage each person would have their own bathroom and looks like a bigger deck area out back.

Any thoughts would be appreciated regarding storage in the cabins of the Voyage and just the overall space vs. the 40' Lavezzi.

Also if you were a captain what would you rather sail/motor and all around captain stuff? thanks!

The 43 was built by Norseman and is not actually a Voyage boat. Voyage bought them out and used the basic design for the Voyage 44. If it is a Norseman it is probably 15 years old. The heads are also tiny. I think you will find the FP has as much room.
