Just got back form 10 fantastic days on Friday (luckily had a long weekend to stay in vacation mode). I am having a very difficult time getting back into non-island mode. This was our second trip and we loved it more the second time around. Stayed in Little Apple Bay in the same little vila as the first time (Casa Caribe). I so miss the sound, smell, and sight of the ocean. We rented a power boat from Cane Garden Bay one day and what a blast that was! You don't realize how big the waves are till you're out there a ways. Went to Jost and and then came back passing by Brewer's Bay, Smuggler's, Long Bay, and our very precious Little Apple Bay. Also did a private day sail to the Virgin Gorda on a 38' sailboat with a captain "Carl". Did a lot of snorkeling and swimming. We sometimes cooked at home but had several yummy meals out. Sebastian's has an awesome grilled chicken with a ginger sauce that I really need to get the recipe for. Rhymer's was really good too - for both breakfast and dinner. Sa Quito with his band and had dinner there the same night. The place was hopping when we left. Saw a good band at Bomba's too (No tea). I'm sitting here at work for the first time since Aug. 22 and I just can't get into gear. 10 days in Tortola surely gets you into 100% island/relaxation mode. I'm not waiting 4 years again to go back!!![Linked Image]

Edited by Administrator on 10/29/01 02:14 PM.
