Since our first night on the boat we will either be in West End or Nanny Cay awaiting the arrival of our friends on the last ferry from St. Thomas we were thinking about taking a cab over to Cane Garden Bay to visit the beach bars there. I'm assuming it is easier and a shorter distance to get a cab from Nanny Cay rather than West End. Has anyone done this and know approximate time it takes and cost? We would probably do this once our friends arrive.

Wow! Doesn't seem worth it to pay $80 to go to Cane Garden and back. Anyone know of a bus or something else that would be cheaper? Don't want to rent a car because we will be drinking.

We took the boat to CGB last year and picked up the rest of our crew at Myettes. It was very easy. Planning on doing the same with our sail this April.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - beer in hand - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"

Orange_Burst said: Why not take the boat to CGB and wait for the crew there. They could taxi over, then it is just a one way taxi fare. This...lots of Taxis waiting on the Ferry...
