I wonder if mal is still on here ..i'm sure he is ,, he was always such a fixture and a great help to all. I am looking for a waterfront something for 2 on the north shore for about 2-3 days in early mid January .. your thoughts are welcome Thanks mike <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" />

Also check out Sebastian's, which is a regular hotel, so easier to just pick up a couple of days hopefully. In January, it's relatively unusual to have sand in front of Mal's place, but usually there should be sand in front of Seb's. For a longer stay, I love Big Apple, but very much doubt, unless you would get really lucky, that you could get a couple of days in January.

As Rick said, I haven't heard of anyone who stayed there who didn't enjoy it.
