Just wanted to let people know that if they are traveling to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (by boat or land based) that there is a wonderful place at Big Sands on Union Island. It is Sparrows Beach Club. A wonderful beach bar with tables & chairs under the palm trees, gazebos, lounge chairs with pads and a gorgeous white sand beach.
It is next door to the Big Sands (boutique) hotel. Sparrows does great frozen drinks, and specialty shots along with a delightful food menu at reasonable prices. They also offer a free shuttle from the center of Clifton on Union Island. We found this hidden gem and had a spectacular day there. They also currently have 1 free mooring ball just off the beach, but we were told that they would be installing a few more.
