jandbruce OP Traveler J Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 45	Notice yesterday and today the winds have really subsided and very still for January... It was a picture perfect day on the beach. Any other TTOL hear on island now notice how calm it is. I'm not complaining back home on East coast very very Fregid tonight.. Loving the weather!!!

Food always great with friendly people all around. Wonderful Saturday outing....relaxing. No sure about all this calm winds.. It has been 2 years since being here this time of year.. A little aery!!!!! Will see what tomorrow brings........

CJIMI Traveler C Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 168	Last Sunday it was very windy, but by Tuesday, Jan. 5, it was only a light breeze, sooo nice ( I got sunburned ). We flew back the next day, and security at Juliana was chaotic - we just made our flight. At least part of the problem was caused by a closed security lane - there were 4 lanes, but only 3 were staffed.

We've had beautiful breezy days, but also very windy ones where we had to turn the loungers around with our backs to the water to avoid being sand or salt blasted.
