I know, I have posted a dinner review but would be remiss if I did not mention the lovely Mini Club.
While Margiot is not as it was in years past, the Mini Club is still serving up good food. After a brief stint in the market, where I got a gorgeous hat and some spices , we hit the mini club for lunch.
The waiter has been there for years and always remembers us and how we like his frozen lime daiquiris .
We ordered, a lobster avocado salad, a cheese omelette and I had the creole sampler which had fish, crab , and blood pudding which is not to everyone's taste but I grew up with it and it was superb.
The place overlooks the boats and is up above the road. You feel as I'df you were in a big treehouse.
It is worth the visit.
