Not very long ago, they had an ad in the DH that said that they were 'back', but at Soggy Dollar Bar...

Their FB account today does indicate they are back and on the beach at Kim Sha but as of Jan. 5 they were at Soggy Dollar Bar.

OK, I remember reading something in the Daily Herald, talking about the land swap deal for that piece of land with PDP got cancelled or something. Perhaps has to do with the merry-go-round in government these days.

Very possible. Unless someone reports first-hand they are back on the beach, I would be a little reluctant based on a post on the internet at this point.

I certainly don't want anyone to go out of business so good for them if they can move back. I also hope they saw all the postings from people complaining of the music volume and try to be good neighbors.

Other bars in that area have been required to stop the music at a reasonable hour (BBB comes to mind) because of complaints from neighbors.

Well...kinda true
They have a bar set up on the beach and it is operational. The previous main bar/stage/music area is dark. Only music is from a taped source. May be different on the w/e...

Enzo told me on Monday night that he will be having Latin night there again (I think starting in 2 weeks) It had moved to Soggy, but as of yesterday all the stuff was moved from Soggy (but I don't know to where) and the bar was open on Monday but just a few people having beers at sunset and I haven't been back since...He is applying for a building permit
