Hi there. I'm planning for a bareboat sail out of southern FL, Miami or Key West or anywhere in between. We're new to bareboating and obviously not familiar with the waters. We're thinking something short... 4-5 nights aboard. Any suggestions would be most welcome; try this, go here, don't do that.... anything. thank you so much for your suggestions.

Here's my advice, don't go to Elliot Key on a weekend! Zoo.
Miami to the Keys sound nice. Key Largo is a fave.

thank you Irina. We've been to the Keys several times, all driving there, went for a sailing charter once with a great captain on board the Breezin with Capt Dennis. Just trying to select the best base for a shorter trip... Miami or KW... thanks for the recommendaiton.
