Thank you for the link. The article and the pics are a nice reminder of many happy hours spent wandering the island and discovering...much of it within walking distance of the airport! And..a nice way of killing a few hours before trudging back to the airport and getting on a plane - reluctantly leaving.

I just ordered the book "Lest I Forget" by Mabel Wagner about her life in Trellis Bay. She lives not far from us in Winter Park Florida. Will post about it when finished. She suggested a visit to the museum on Bellamy Cay. Anyone know anything about it?

Ordered the book as well. She responded to email request immediately. Seems like a very nice lady. Look forward to reading her story. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Just finished "Lest I Forget". Its a great read for anyone with any interest at all in the history of Trellis Bay, Beef Island and/or Bellamy Cay. And Mabel Wagner is a beautiful soul. We have emailed back and forth several times over the past few weeks and she is a dear.
Also checked this out http://www.lastresortbvi.com/ for the latest on Bellamy Cay and the Last Resort.
