Spent a wonderful day today at Kakao 3 chairs, one umbrella $35.00. Lunch was fabulous. My son had a tuna special, I had lamb shank which was great. My husband had a pizza which was not good. It was good to see Jeremy again. NOW the downside. When we they brought the bill they said tip not included.

Sorry to hear the pizza wasn't good. We had a great pizza there in June 2015. Did the server volunteer that the tip wasn't included or you asked??

A good answer to the server would be "your right, since you mentioned it, it won't be included".

He handed my son the bill and said service not included. I don't know if it was stamped on bill I did not pay but was sitting there when he said that. My son paid the bill for $130 and I left a tip of only $10.

Which did he say, "tip" or "service"? We've been told that the "tip" needs to be left in cash, to which we always respond that we know.

What kind of pizza did he get that wasn't good? The long-time chef at Kakao resigned last month, so I'm glad that the other dishes were good, but the pizza there was our favorite on the island.

Tip not included. Margarita pizza. It is Monday and maybe pizza maker may have been off

Maybe so. I sure hope the food there remains as good as it was with the previous chef.

When we were there a few weeks ago, I tried the pizza there for the first time after hearing how good it was here. It was not very good at all. I was so disappointed since whenever we go to Kakao, I have been really happy with the food.
