Landing on Tortola for first trip is getting ever closer! Our flight arrives at EIS at 18:45 - is it reasonable to estimate 60-90 minutes to arrive at Moorings in Wickams Cay? We are going to be a bit toasted after long flight, but will want to run out for a quick dinner before crashing.

C&F looked like a good option as a short walk away, but it sounds like this is shut at the moment. Any other ideas right there or should we just take the easy option of eating at the Mariner Inn?

Thanks for all of the ideas!

We've had dinner at Charlie's before on our first night and it was a pretty good meal.

Always recommend Capriccio right across from the ferry dock..very good pizzas, pastas, salads and Italian entrees..wine, beer soft drinks all at reasonable prices. Its our Road Town go to..

From The Moorings is it within walking distance or is a cab needed.

You will need a cab unless you are doing a sleepaboard and can dinghy across the harbor. With your arrival time the best and most relaxing thing you can do is head to the swimming pool and order off the bar menu. The burgers and sandwiches are fine.
