Staying at the Sugarmill for a couple nights prior to charter in June which we did two years ago also but understand they are going through some changes. I have read rave reviews about the new owners but was wondering if anyone know the scoop on the Island Restaurant and the Tramonti.
If you stayed there two years ago and liked it.. you will love the place now..Islands has revised its menu and Mary, one of the owners, is usually in the kitchen at lunch..makes a killer quiche. The food upstairs is back to being maybe the best on the island..Dennis and Mary will make you feel very welcome..
