Shops are often closed on Sunday, especially if there are few or no ships in. I would think most will be open on a Monday. Check the cruise ship schedule to find out how many ships are in.

The P'berg shops are almost all and always CLOSED on Sunday's UNLESS there are cruise ships in town and then many will open to hopefully attract and accommodate the passengers.

Monday's are usually a decent day to go to town and the earlier the start, the better the available parking in the lot in the center of town. My other choice is Saturday as there are few if any cruise ships in port and the majority of island visitors come and go on Saturdays so the shopkeepers are a little less harried and more apt to 'do business' since the patrons are generally fewer.

We usually go to town around 8:00 and have breakfast there at any of a number of great locations, and by the time we're done eating, the shops are generally either open or well into the process. I think they mostly open between 9:30-10:00. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

The question today is weather. I'm looking across Great Bay from the Divi and it is rainy and windy. My balcony is still wet from last night and earlier today and getting a light mist now.
It seems to be fast moving as the sky is showing some light and I can see the outline of the hills now, but not the beautiful green color from all the recent rain.
