This may be a very dumb question but why not just get it before your trip so you don't have to worry about such things? Perhaps you are having a wedding or something important like that and then I understand but St. John is so laid back I couldn't imagine spending my time there in any salon for those services.

I have no personal recommendation, but there is a place over by Mongoose Junction. I suspect there are more elsewhere.

I had one once at Mongoose Junction and it was $60. Not any better and more than twice as much as the ones I get in Florida. I only had it done because I was on an extended vacation. Now I get one before I leave and if it gets chipped I just remove the polish.

If you use the gel polish it will last for at least 3 weeks, no chipping.

Thanks Nutmeg; will look.

I was already here and a fews pre-trip nails chipped. And IMHO would never get gels again... made a wreck of my nails.

Mine are my natural nails, just have the gel polish on them. I don't know anything about the gel tips.
