Good morning, all. I can honestly say I have never seen this question before, but here it is: Is there a place on SXM that serves ceviche? I would imagine Jimbo's does, but not a big fan of that establishment. Thanks in advance, Mike.

21 days from today we will be almost to SXM. Flight lands at 11:15 AM on 4/30/16!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

Had ceviche at Fusion some time back. On the menu it is listed under cold appetizers.

I had Conch ceviche at Dreams a couple of years ago...It was part of a Conch trio that they had as a special and it was excellent. I didn't notice if there was a ceviche on the regular menu but well worth a try!! They might even prepare it for you if you make the request when you arrive for the day.

If you also want Tartar, both Villa Royale and Le Soleil in Grand Case have a very good Mahi Mahi Tartar. L' Escargot in Philipsburg makes a very tasty Bahamian style conch salad. And, sometimes, Le Taitu will have a smoked raw fish offering on its lunch menu. I also seem to recall getting a fish carpaccio plate at Dreams.

Off topic but since you mentioned Villa Royale, I think this is an overlooked Gem in Grand Case! We had a wonderful dinner there in January and very reasonably priced!!!! OK, might not have the same ambiance as La Villa, etc but really good food!!

Yes there are plenty of places.

Oyster Bay Beach Resort Infinity restaurant, new restaurant in Cupecoy Escape, and Nasca Peruvian restaurant in Front Street

Thank you all for the suggestions. It appears we will have many choices, Mike.
