Went to Marigot and climbed to Fort Louis. What a hike! But what a view! Back down and into town for refreshment and bathroom stop. Origina & water at Rosemary's on the waterfront, then through the corridor to the marketplace to restock our "magic spice". On to Sarafina for coffee & pastry but the line was out to the street so we moved along to La Sucriere. Another pastry place has opened before Sarafina's. It looked nice but we didn't stop.
Stopped in P'Burg at the Belgum Chocolate Box for key lime & orange mousse chocolates. Again fund a line out the door. Too many people from cruise ship and everyone in the party had to be inside this tiny shop instead of sending in one person to purchase. Finally made it inside and found no one seemed to know what they wanted. I can understand this since there are so many choices. Each time the counter lady asked are you ready there came an 'ummmm' so I spoke up giving my order. I left with my stash and all inside were still there trying to decide.
Back at the condo, we decided on cheese, baguette, wine. Biggest decision was should I open the champagne now or wait until Friday. We'd planned to go to Orient Village to eat but, after the manager's cocktail party, and loads of coconut shrimp, hubby didn't feel like driving so we went down to the cafe at Belair for snapper. Delicious! Made a note to eat there more often.
Now we must decide how we'll spend Friday, our last full day on the island.
