We stopped in to see how Bernadine was doing today. She said she is recovering from her thyroid surgery well. She regained her voice this week after some speech therapy and it is improving more each day. We didn't want her to talk too much so we did not ask too many questions but she did mention that she would be going for precautionary treatments in Martinique but she wanted me to let everyone on TTOL know that the surgery went very well. Of course she always needs help with her animals so if you're in the neighborhood please stop by and support her. We didn't buy anything but made our annual donation to the cause. It was wonderful to see her and see that she was doing better.

Thanks for the update. I know there had been some concern on here. Crepes at PV & a visit with Bernadine and friends have become something we always eagerly anticipate.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Glad to hear she is doing better and still manning her post at Paradise View. She is such a sweet lady!
