Heading to the airport shortly & will have some time to kill...any recommendations for lunch very near there that will be inside/air conditioned? Everyone on the plane will thank us for not being sweaty!

How much time to kill? Have you already checked in and checked your bags? Leaving bags in the car is not a good idea.. Trying to think of someplace inside that's open for lunch. I think in Maho, perhaps Moulin Fou is open for lunch? Fashion Cafe (I think is the name?) in Maho, pizza place, not particularly good. Possibly somewhere in Cupecoy. If you haven't already checked in and dropped your bags, I might just go to the Souliga Lounge. $20 per person, including snacks and wine and soda.

They were looking for somewhere with a/c, which makes it a lot more difficult.

Don't know on Fashion Cafe, but obviously at this point, it is moot for the original poster.

i would rather eat dirt than ever go back to the Fashion Cafe...or whatever it is called now. The pizza box probably would have more flavor than the pizza had. Friends of ours ate there this last March, and swore they would NEVER return again either. They said it was the worst food they have ever had on the island....and that was just sandwiches and burgers!!

How near? We always stop at Vesna Taverna on the way to the airport.
