Most of you on TTOL know the beloved "pat" and her daughter "kim", but few knew pat's husband, John. I had the pleasure of meeting pat, John and kim many years ago on SXM and also meeting them at their home in CT. They are all QUALITY people and loved SXM.

It is with much sadness I want to inform you that John Denley has passed on. He was a very unique person, and I was honored to have met him, pat and kim. They also have another daughter, Karen.

Below is a link to the obituary for John Denley. May he RIP.

Condolences to the family.

John Denley

The Widows Club is one none of us choose to join. When our spouse leaves this earth, we immediately become members. I have been a member of this club now for almost nine years and it never gets easier. Some days will be better than others, but the pain is always there. May God grant you peace and strength in the days ahead. Sending love and hugs to all the family as you grieve the loss of a husband, father and great friend to all.

I’ve been trying for days to post my most sincere thanks to all of you for your expressions of love for my husband and this is the best I can do.

He was quite a guy…… a great father; a good and dear friend to all who were privileged to have known him; and a truly good man. And most of all, a wonderful husband. I lost my best friend but heaven has surely gained another angel.

Suffer no more, my love, but Rest in Peace until the twelfth of never and that’s a long, long time!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. It’s going to be an interesting journey without Dad around to keep me in line!!! 😂. Even at 57 he would still check in on me when I was in SXM “just to hear my voice” and to make sure I wasn’t “out late”. Now If he only realized I was usually in my pjs by 9 most nights ❤️❤️. My sister Karen and I both are here to help mom
Get through this transition that will never feel “right”💔❤️💔❤️💔❤️

Oh how very sad I like so many other others always enjoyed all of Pats wonderful posts and Kim‘s as well. Having lost my own husband last year. I fully understand how painful this must be. Grief is a long process with lots of twists and turns my heart goes out to Pat and Kim. There really are no words just feelings and I know they must know how many people care about them. I hope time is kind to them.
