While recently on the island, we talked with someone very knowledgeable about what was going on with Lee's. Yes, Lee's has tons of support from some locals and obvious the tourists, but it is not our decision, it is the owner of the actual property. Don't take this in any negative way against me but, if I was the owner of the land, and I knew that Lee's has only been paying in the ballpark of $250 per/month for rent for many, many, many years, and I knew I could get substantially much more rent, why would I allow the current establishment to stay? Only looking at it from a business owners point of view. Don't judge me, I'm just pointing out facts. I have NOTHING against Lee's! It's going to seem strange not seeing it there or hearing the music! (if they are ordered to vacate)
