My favorite view in St. Maarten is the view from our balcony at our Towers timeshare.

Don't laugh - We are high enough and situated in such a way that from our main balcony off the living room we can see the front part of the Mullet golf course to the Mullet Bay Beach area and beyond all the way to to Saba with all the boats and yachts and the occasional cruise ships that sail the waters in between. By turning just a bit we can watch the planes land and take off into the clouds at PJIA along with the cars crossing over the causeway and at the same time we can see them going up 'over the hill' and we're not done yet.

We can look down on the Mullet golf course and Mullet Pond with Mona Island or look out and up and see the French hills and all the different communication towers in the distance, and at the same time we can look out in the opposite direction and see all the way from the starkly white and red tile roofed buildings of Point Pirouette and beyond to the Nettle Bay/Sandy Ground area along with a quick glimpse of the Tower at the old La Belle Creole Resort and as far as out to Grand Case and Creole Rock.

And finally, on a clear day we can see the sun glinting in the windshields of the cars moving around on Anguilla in the distance. And at night all of these areas are even more dramatic.

It's really an al out all-encompassing location that offers so much to be seen - it's no wonder we appreciate the times we choose to spend on our balcony. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
