Last charter (July 2016) we took the complimentary 4 hour captain with Moorings. Personally I think its a great offer to their customers and we use it as an extension of the checkout and extra time to learn the nuances of the boat etc. We sailed over to Deadman's had the crew practice anchoring, he showed them proper dinghy starting and handling then dropped him on the beach where he took the complimentary ferry back to the base. At the end of our charter we didn't even stop as we pulled in the Marina crew bopped out on a dinghy and one of them jumped on board while I set the lines and such. (43 mono)
