We did our first cat charter on a Moorings boat several years ago. The "friendly captain" accompanied us out to the SFD where we did a few tacks, then picked up a mooring ball at Peter Island. He was satisfied with our skill level and took the PI ferry back to Road Town. Not a big deal at all and gave us an opportunity to ask questions about transitioning from mono to cat.
