Savannah bay is fine even in strong East winds. The wind will funnel through the gap however so you won’t get any protection from the wind. The anchorage will be calm. I guess it depends on how comfortable you are in your anchoring skills. I would go with 7 to 1 scope and make sure you have properly backed down and set the anchor. Do not go there if there is a north swell. G
