Heading down for 12 days in 3 weeks and starting to think about the must haves..... used to have a great list, but I seem to have lost it. Four of us on "Day One", a 45' Beneteau Oceanis out of CYOA.
Trying to recreate my list:
Our own snorkel gear and swim goggles Headlamps Dry bags for going ashore Collapsible solar light for cockpit Hammocks for sleeping up on deck (2 14-year old girls) USN burgee/pennant Quick dry towels Nutmeg grater Small assortment of spices in mini ziplocks Sunscreen Aloe Fly spray Prell (great salt water shampoo!) Sunglasses, hats, etc. Bungees Carabiners Leatherman Zip locks in varying sizes Kitchen size garbage bags Zip ties Clothespins Plastic drinking bottle per crew member
We'll be taking a soft cooler with hard frozen marinated meat. Like to have the extra support in freezer and eliminates the need to buy spices
Would love to hear of other "must haves" for cabin, cockpit, deck, dingy, going ashore, etc.
