Yep my work took me to a town about 2 hours west of AMS right on the German border. I met friends that I will have for life. Not at work, but at local restaurants, bars, or just chatting. I have gone to their house for dinner and still exchange emails. I am not sure what it is about the Netherlands, but something just works. I hope the recent politcal drama will not impact the future.
