Sandy Island looks to be only a mile or so off the beach. Best bet would be to check the wind and sea, if it's blowing like it was this morning you might want to be in the lee of Sandy, looks like it would be very rolly on the balls off the beach
Drink all day at home, your friends worry about you; do it on vacation and they say "what a good time you're having". Save your friends needless worry, travel more!
