Hello:
I've not chartered and provisioned a bareboat sail charter out of SXM since before hurricanes so wondering what the best options are for self-provisioning. Sunsail is located at Fort Louis - I'm not planning to rent a car so appreciate any thoughts/options specifically relative to provisioning a sailboat at the marina. Essentially, I'm asking what is the best store to pick up everything (or best stores - one stop is always better than multiple stops) including staples (paper products, cereals, breads, etc.) as well as fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, and of course, wine and liquor.
I'm not too concerned about the time involved so I can go further away if necessary. Just trying to assess my options. Also, how easy is it to walk from marina to Marigot area for small add-on items (few bottles of wine, bread, etc.) after the initial provisioning.
Lastly, do days of week or time of day matter at all? (ie: Sunday vs Friday...)
Much thanks for any help!
Best,
Kevin
