Uneventful flight from BWI to Charlotte to SXM. Used Unity, who we've used for many years and have been treated very well. Belair Hotel in Little Bay, little change from past years. Good accommodations/good restaurant (Gingerbread), beach still pretty good, weather: only 1 day of overcast and periodic showers. Restaurants: Greenhouse-Philipsburg: Always reliable, great happy hour drinks and appetizers as well as small, but very good lobster. Mark's Place: Good service, very good food, Rack of Lamb and steaks were favorites. Chesterfields: One of our favorites, Huge Lobster, Hurricane or Coconut shrimp, right on the marina, a little pricey but comfortable. Zee Best now has bakery (take out only)up by the airport. No real advantage over getting take out from one of their cafes. Great danishes and other pastries. Traffic a little crazier but additional round abouts have helped when drivers "give preference" the way they are supposed to. Return flights uneventful, air travel has been reduced to continuous sales pitches, crampted seats, maxed downsizing: "no, we have no pens for your immigration paperwork, check with other passengers". "Oh, you want to apply for USAir credit card? Here's a pretty floral pen for you to complete the form."
