The south side of Lovango - where the dock and houses are is coral fields and not the easiest place to find sand anchorage - also the current towards the eastern side can be stronger than the wind and put the vessel up on the reef. On the Northside - between Congo and Lovango there are quite a few places to anchor - again the current can be strong and contrary to the wind. Of course the more keel underwater the more that the current will affect the vessel.
